I know I do. It's not intentional either. I'm 6'4 and 275 pounds with what my wife calls an angry resting face. I've heard the same thing again and again " those guys were such and such or we were in a tight spot, we wish you were there with us.." Why the Fu** would I want to get hit in the face is my first thought. Fights suck and getting hit hurts. As for motorcycle gear I'm more likely to get mistaken for a Power Ranger than a S&M Pirate.
Is wearing *Rally Jammies* all weekend projecting an image ? Dusty
Depends on the Slippers Paul B
You are a normal sized guy. I'm 6'4" at 220 lbs. I've heard it too. Then once in a while some drunk guy decides it would be a good idea to beat on me. I try not to loose my sense of humor as I protect myself and most of the time the guy didn't really want to fight. As a psychological weapon and as a tool I carry a boxing mouth guard in my motorcycle jacket. Slip that in and smile at the miscreant is one way I foster an image of someone that should be left alone. I'm starting to look like what I am, a crippled up old guy.
On half our bikes I look like a monkey humping a football.
As a former fighter pilot and airline Captain, I try to make sure I always project an image of cool competence.Sort of like a polished Dennis Quaid. Or in actuality, a drunken Randy Quaid.Life isn't long enough to take yourself too seriously.
What bird did you fly in the military ? Oh , could it be a drunken Dennis Quaid ? Dusty
