Found something to haul on my Kendon
« on: January 26, 2022, 07:23:37 PM »
I've been in the market for a used Kendon stand-up trailer for a while. Finally scored one  last week. Got a trailer hitch from etrailer shipped in 2 days. Just in time! Found a 2002 California Stone in that funky dreamsickle orange suede of FB Marketplace. 11K miles. And it was in the North Carolina mountains, about 3 hours north of me. Well, an adventure ensued today:

Came with some extra parts: tank with a dent in top, new "Stone" sidecover still in OEM wrap, original footpegs (which I will use to replace the floorboards on it now) and some other goodies I'll post when I sort through the box.

Nice bike.  You have either moved since you provided your location or that Mustang hauls ass!

The Kendon works great!!! Wish I had picked one up years ago. It has those rubber band suspension thingies and pulls straight and quiet. When standing up in the garage its footprint is smaller than a small motorcycle.

You sound derisive.  That's one of my favorite color combo's from Guzzi.  Reminiscent of the Art Deco Aprilia 650 Pegaso.

I need to setup myself same/similar to your trailer - hitch combination. ( both used is fine with me, I like used, cheaper stuff :) )
It would be for my Acura MDX.

IMO a Kendon trailer is worth every penny and as was mentioned in a previous post stood up takes up lass space than a motorcycle  :thumb:

How sturdy are these trailers?  There's a 1997 single bike trailer local to me for sale....are they strong enough to haul a full dresser Harley?....my HD is probably 900+ pounds.

IIRC, Guzzi called that color Flint Orange, hence the nickname "Flintstone". My favorite color of that era.
