Which plug?
« on: October 26, 2021, 10:35:01 AM »
Anyone have handy the model of the correct peanut plug in a Manfred Hecht dual-plug big bore big valve head? Its correct gap?

Not being lazy, just efficient, working to make it a one-step job instead of disassemble, go buy, blah blah...

Thank you DPGUZZI.COM, who have the RACECO catalog online.

https://dpguzzi.com/raceco.pdf

But: "reach" is only implied not stated. And plugs seem to have come a long way in the last 45 years. So. Can anyone propose a smart, fully-modern option that won't require messing with the cables and boots?

From the catalog:

"Round" head - Machining, two 10mm plugs, special
plug wrench and replacement head bolts. Spacers for long reach 10mm plugs for racing applications supplied on request.

TWIN PLUG REPLACEMENT PARTS
10mm NGK #7 spark Plug. Each.
14mm NGK B 7 ES (To match above) Each.
Special 10mm Spark plug socket wrench (3/8 drive)
