Humm, I watched the video and did not need to log into facebook. Furthermore, I am not a member of FB, and don't intend to be. In any case, not my cup of tea.

Well, no chance of me pulling into the 2nd Sunday of the month breakfast in NE Ohio on a Flying Fortress.  Much better chance of seeing me pull in on one of the new small blocks.

Damn, Guzzi ..... you should know you're not going to compete with a 'batwing' fairing HD with this bike, so why try?  Instead, do what you know you need to do ..... make us a nice big block standard.  Those of us who are Guzzi fanatics will probably buy one.  But, no way in hell are you going to convince HD riders (en masse) to start buying Flying Fortresses.  Too big of a leap, for starters, for a brand-jump.  How many HD riders does anyone know who are willing to jump brands from HD to Guzzi for the pleasure of riding a Flying Fortress?  And, how many Guzzi loyalists are going to spring for a Flying Fortress?  Not me, for sure!

Sorry ..... couldn't help myself .....!

Well, at least they're doing some marketing.......... ..just not to the majority of long time Guzzi owners, probably a good idea, this 30 year Guzzi owner wouldn't buy one.

I hope they sell thousands!

Ehhhh

I am disqualified for not being in this market. but if I had that sort of bucks I'd have a Griso. Or a nice V7 and some serious change.

I'm not into baggerz, but for some reason the MGX-21 is growing on me.

I like all the carbon fiber. I like what they've done with the bags and the tail.  A bit of a modern Cadillac look.

The gauges and dash have a bit of a 1950s Italian auto look about them, but the lines of the fairing don't seem to go with the lines of the rest of the bike.

I'm looking forward to seeing one in the flesh.

Cant imagine they are looking to pull HD riders in mass.   But if they can pull even 1% Away from HD and turn them into conquest sales it will mqke sense for Guzzi.  they already have us, there after the pirate crowd.

Truth be told, I'm not knocking the bike, just its goofy marketing, but perhaps thats what works for this type of bike?

As far as baggers go, I think it looks like it has the right stuff.  It's certainly flamboyant, but I thinks thats a big part of the appeal for the bagger crowd.

Couldn't give a flip about this particular offering though I was intrigued by the thread on the "Touring SE".

Mahbe it could be the preferred "Club" bike for HGTV's upcoming series:

"The Sons of Apathy"

Anyhow, on their page they have this:

For a version of "The Flying Fortress".  Any idea what these "ideogramma" are based on?

If it's a "thing" for millennials, as a perennial - I'm clueless.

So, you're mostly not crazy about the fairing. Nice looking beast, I think. But I'd rather a more standard face.
