and believe it or not.. they are different motorcycles. Basically they are the same machine, of course, but the G5 is a more relaxed upright riding position.. more comfortable. Both are solid fine handling machines. Dorcia didn't like the SP at all. The ergonomics are completely different, but she's fine with this one. <shrug>
Chuck, I’m sure you are correct about the ergos. When I mentioned the similarities my comment was really aimed at that lovely iron-bore roundhead engine. You knew my old bike and I can attest it just got better with miles. Love that particular version of the roundheads.
