Title: A relaxing day....
Post by: guzzi4me on July 15, 2019, 04:55:29 PM
Today was a vacation day...no particular reason just a random day.

Got some chores done around the house, washed Olivia, my daughters Cobalt and the pickup truck.

I have 2 more years before retirement and am looking forward to it. It's amazing how much more needs to be done around the house. But I did what I wanted to do today and on my schedule. Like I said quite relaxing!

Back to reality tomorrow..have to be at work at 0300.

The only thing that would have made today better is if Laurie would have called in sick...but they are short handed at the Vet's office and she didn't feel right about doing that.

Enjoy each and every day...while we have the health to do so!!

So, did you make your wife dinner, or are you taking her out to eat.
Hmmm, if you don't like doing dishes.....

Doing BBQ tonight....her choice!

My daughter..who lives with us along with the most wonderful grandaughter in the world (may be a bit biased of course) will do dishes.

Win win!!!!

Put it on the hot dog, not your hand. Now I know why your wife is the cook

Its the simple things in life that give us the most satisfaction, as you have found out.  I dont think you will have any problems staying busy, and productive when you retire.  Thats a good thing!
