Stelvio - Extended / Taller Windshields?
« on: May 05, 2019, 07:46:05 PM »
Hello Stelvio 1200 NTX riders. I`ve started riding my new MY2017 and found out that I REALLY NEED a taller touring windshield, I`m 6'2" and even at the top setting, my dang head gets buffeted just like when someone has the rear window down in the car on the freeway - a rhythmic booming.  After extensive internet searches, I have unfortunately come up with nowt!! Can anyone make a recommendation or two?
Thanks - Tom

I've got an 'Eagle Screens' screen. The biggest one they make. It's like the front of a Mack truck! ugly as a hat full of farty arseholes but let's face it, it's hard to make a Stelvio uglier than it already is!

This popped up at the top of my first search.   I've got one on my Stelvio and it works.

Here's a cheaper option,I've used this deflector device for 3 years now,it has made all the difference especially at highway speeds ,It diverts the air flow right over my helmet instead in straight in my face.

^ I have the same $20 unit. Just used it for about 2,000 mile trip to Utah and Nevada.

It is easy to install and remove (if you bring a hex-key). It fit in my tank bag, so I could pop it off when I wanted a smaller screen.

Both the height and the angle are adjustable. I got it to the point that I could ride at 80mph+ with my visor up and not get anything in my eyes.
