You sit beside it, breathe deeply and enjoy both of the warm glows of course!

Is Tommy Chong one of the investors ?

Seriously , this looks like a good idea , hemp is a really good base material to build all sorts of things with .

Materials aside, I wonder how much of a market there really is for this vs a bicycle. Lots of bike lanes out here, and lots of bicyclists relative to a lot of the US, but this will require a lot more footprint to park, and that is a big minus.

In Tokyo, I saw so many bicycles and almost no little scooters compared to other cities, and it came about when the government decided to disallow sidewalk parking for any scooter. Killed the sub-50 scooter market dead. This "Better" device would never make it there-especially with so much bicycle traffic allowed on sidewalks.

The weather protection is nice but I don't see a big rush from small cars to this for commuting. Most of the people who would consider this already are riding bikes.

Aaron , same thoughts here . Maybe this is more about showing what can be done with hemp than actually selling a finished product .

I was seriously considering a "velomobile" as I had a round trip 40km bicycle commute to work for a few years at a previous job.  Even though these do have a serious aerodynamic advantage over the common bicycle ( more so with the type shown below) in the end a bicycle worked best for me as I needed to jump a few curbs and go off the path regularly on my route.

IMO bicycles just have more flexability.
