Harper's Outsider filter
« on: July 10, 2015, 08:48:06 PM »
Does the addition of a Harpers Outsider oil filter and its attendant spacer require additional oil over and above the manual-prescribed 3 litres in a Quota 1100ES?
Thanks!

No.  Use the depth to get your 3 liters away from the crankshaft.

You will need to read your dipstick differently though. Put in the 3 liters and see where your new full line is

Thanks guys, that's what I wanted to hear. Seems like the PO had been adding a litre too much according to some old receipts.
