And what does a 1100 Sport, a Suzuki GSXR1100W, and a C4 Corvette small-block V8 have in common? Yes, you guessed it, they all sound great, and they (at least the ones I have parked in the stable) were all build within two years (1995-1997) of each other!!!

Here are a couple of pictures and video clips from four of my bikes, and one of my toy cars.......  Get a beer or better two, since looking at all of the videos and pictures of this post is going to take a while .....

This is a video clip of my silver 1995 Moto Guzzi 1100 Sport, which I added to the stable on April 26th, 2019. This bike came with a full Termignoni exhaust system with crossover, chrome moly push rods, heli bars,  Delrin Manifolds, and a Throttlemeister. I had a set of new Pirelli GT tires installed and did a full tuneup, which included all new fluids, filters, spark plugs, and new batteries.

This is a video clip of my (Mike's or Rocker59's former bike) red carb 1996 1100 Sport, which has a full Staintune exhaust with crossover, 41mm Keihin FCR's, and K&N air filters

https://youtu.be/lpbuyzYlJYU?list=FLYaAaQehbZDGCB1QEAJwXSQ

And this is a video clip of my fuel injected 1997 1100 Sport, which has a full Mistral exhaust with crossover, K&N filter, and she has the Will Creedon performance chip installed in her ECU.

She shines even in the dark.....

This is my 1996 GSXR1100W, which is one super fast bike. This is the type of bike to ride when 200 mph is just not fast enough, and you want to push the speed up just a little further! She has 41mm Keihin FCR's, K&N filters, a performance exhaust, balanced cam, and, and.... This bike was raced in the late 90's at the Maryland International Raceway, and then ended up in a storage facility in Baltimore. I ended up buying this bike about four years ago, and it took lots of time and money to get her sorted and back onto the road. And yes, this bike is a blast to ride......

Too bad that this engine is hidden behind a bunch of plastic.......

Some people think that the 1100 Sport is a large bike...... I think it's a small bike.... The 1100 Sport, when she is parked next to the GSXR, looks like the hot little Italian girlfriend of the Suzuki. I'm pretty sure that I will find a little Moto-Suki baby motorcycle parked between the two of them one day! Just imagine, the looks and sounds of a 1100 Sport with the brute force and muscle of a 1100 Gixxer. That surly would be something! :)

Here is the Money shot!!! 41mm Keihin FCR's, which are way too big for this bike, but the power that they make is all that, and then a whole lot more!!!!! :)

And since I like things that make a little noise....

This is my 1995 LT4 Corvette, which I bought in 1999. She (Belinda) is a factory 6 speed car. The engine now has a Comp-Cam, American Racing Headers lead into a true x-brace 3" exhaust pipes leading into Borla mufflers. She also has a couple air intake mods and an electronic water pump installed. I love driving this car.....

ps: It's not a 1996 GS, it's a standard LT4. I added the GS stripe after I had to repaint this car due to a large tree branch that landed on her during a thunderstorm 6 years ago.

It's time now for removing years worth of carbon buildup

I fully agree, rocker59’s old 1100 sounds really nice with the 41mm Keihin carbs and the Staintune exhaust. I also think that this bike rates pretty high up there within the “looks” rating. The Guzzi red mixed with golden decals and the golden wheels/ valve covers looks just right!

AHHHH! Staintunes! i had a set of them on my old '81 850 T3FB and they were a delight too. my second fave after the Sporti.

Oh, BTW, i should mention that i also loved the distinct sound of the Honda CL 77's that i owned. i had them with and without cans on the end.  it is said (and i don't know how apocryphal this is) that the Honda enigneers recorded the sounds of of American F__'s  (dunno what number) as they were about to take off and they tried to make the Honda 250 and 305 Scramblers sound as much like them as they could. that's the story anyway.
