Audace 2016 - Bar End Mirror Install

Hi All,

The stock stalk mirrors on my 2016 have always bothered me so I decided replace with some Bar End.
Paid a pretty penny for some Rizoma Retro reverse pictured below.




Having some issues with the install:
(1) Stock bar end weights are unfortunately about 2mm too wide to allow mirrors to slide over.
Thus you have to buy mirror manufacturers bar end kit separately 

(2) New bar end kit comes with dyna bolt type fixings however Audace handle bar seems to either have caps welded in there or they are part of the bar??
Also the gap between new Bar end weight when fully screwed home urks me alot. Possibly get spacers made.

Anyone know how to remove Cap on Audace handle bars or if its possible?

I sold my Audace a bit over a year ago so I can't go look. I am not sure what you mean by a cap. If you mean the part that the weight is attached to, it doesn't come out as far as I know. I would just take the weight to a machine shop and have them turn it down so the mirrors will fit.
