Couple unrelated questions.

1)Can you use G5 round slide carb style throttle cables   on square slide carbs?

2) What was the last year Guzzi engines had the blanking plate over the distributor hole and a dizzy gear on the cam?   Thank you oh enlightened ones!  I feel a monster bike coming on..... :cool:

1) no, I don't believe you can.  I replaced my square slides with round and the cables did not translate.

build your own cables. i think 94 was the last year for a gear to run a dizzy. my 98 motor i had to change the cam and bore the dizzy hole

My 94 1100 sport doesn't have a dizzy gear.
