IL CORAGGIO DI ANDARE OLTRE - Trailer

https://vimeo.com/494116049

Quote
Carlo Guzzi, Giorgio Parodi, Giovanni Ravelli.
The history of an encounter, of a friendship. of an anìgeless bond.
An idea that turns into a project, an enlightened and united business reality. A mutual success.

An idea of Massimo Zavaglia and Bruno Nava.
An ALBORAN production
Directed by Maurizio Pavone

Not heard of this before.
I guess it was shot for the 100th anniversary

I watch a video like that one, about passion, enthusiasm and the history.  Then I think of the coming "electric revolution" in posts like slow mover's Predictions.  It's sad. All the passion and history will be relegated to museums, replaced by two-wheeled appliances with all the character of a blender.  Glad I'm too old to live through the full transition.

I have watched that a number of times and wish I could understand Italian.   Great video!  Love the Guzzi singles.

That’s exactly how I’m beginning to think too.
If I was made 18 years old again  today, I think I would have a cruising yacht and learn marine navigation. A great way to see the world.
A goodly percentage of today’s WG members will live to see today’s bikes die.
I was struck by the statement that the old guy said..
“Guzzi becomes carried away by emotion..”
This can introduce quirky anomalies into our bikes that BMW or the Big Four would not tolerate.
I’m glad I’ve come to Guzzi for the run to the end...
I have never met a devoted Guzzi owner that I didn’t like...

"a piece of iron that has a soul and that can speak and tell many things"

The human connection to the machines and the emotions that run through it set Moto Guzzi apart from almost every other motorcycle manufacturer.  The fact that they still produce the bikes in Mandelo del Lario speaks volumes also.

I decided to buy a single about the same time this video came out.  Every time I watch it I am reassured that I did the right thing.

Sneak preview!  To be delivered tomorrow, 1935 GTS.

The latest version of the video has added subtitles.  It really adds much to it!
