Yes. Put a little fuel system cleaner in both bikes and had a go. Amazing what a little saddle time will do for the 'tude.

I tried to ride, but could not. I ordered a new battery from Harpers, instead. I got ten years out of the original...

Saw scores of bikes while driving around doing errands.

Got back home, figured I'd roll the bikes out and at least fire them up. Good day to get them cleaned up a bit if nothing else.

I hear bikes buzzing by probably every 2-3 minutes.

Bikes fire up with nary a complaint nor hesitation.

Roll one back in, still undecided on whether or not to grab the stool and rags for the other.

Then I get a whiff of that "motorcycle smell" - that unique combination of fuel, exhaust, rubber and what, plastic?

Done deal. Gear on. Off we go for an hour or so.

Lots of good smells out in the world -  that's spring cooking somewhere out there.

It was a good call.

Beautiful day here in LA!  Only 3rd time on my new Eldo - 3 hours 68-75 deg.  Went from the valley up Mulholland west past a house I used to own then down to PCH and the ocean.  Back Malibu Canyon to home.  Pretty windy though.

My wife and I rode the Norge to and from a dinner party tonight. It was dark and cold (about 45 degrees), but it was a beautiful ride through farm country.

200 miles on the new 1200 engine.  With the torque converter it does about 5800rpm at 80mph..  The engine will quite comfortably go faster.  The trike however will comfortably, not.  low 70s and overcast/low humidity.  Perfect riding weather.

I ride virtually every day to and from business appointments.

This is what I rode today to reach my boss house and then drive away to another town.

And during winter months they also install waterproof leg shields.

3-wheeled lazy fat moped + damp and unconfortable canvas strapped around my legs = very bad riding morning today

Rode about a total of about 10 miles round trip to the barber shop on the Bassa.  Windy as hell, but about 50 degrees.  Great haircut on my few remaining hairs by the Korean lady barber who has been my go to for years, but damned if she could trim a beard evenly if her life depended on it.  Looks like I will have to "Grizzly Adams" it for a couple of weeks and start over.

Yes. As usual for a Monday, to work. When the traffics not bad, it's a nice 20 mile ride each way. The Ambo got to go today. Tomorrow maybe the Eldo. Or the Ambo again, need to check the fuel mileage.

77 degrees and it seemed like every Harley within a 100 mile radius drove thru town. I rode two bikes, they needed the exercise.

We'll ride out Saturday to Altavista VA to the "Taste of Italy" restaurant at 12:30 for the monthly 3rd Saturday SW VA Guzzi Lunch ... but it's just cold and gray and unpleasant today, so I'll get the work done that I would have done on Saturday and have the day "off" .....

Got a text from my wife to say my bro-in-law has just got himself a new to him 1400 Suzuki Intruder. Had to haul out the Mighty Breva to go and check it out. looks a tidy bike (2003) with 22,000 miles on the clock.

I sense a wee ride coming up today. It is a lot bigger than most of his previous bikes so I think he would like to go with someone who is not going to pressure him in to going faster than his understanding of the bike would be.

I'd like to formally request a moratorium on the posting of this photo. It's causing me great distress and undue time spent counting pennies and determining if I can in fact forego other luxuries, such as food, water, electricity...stuff like that.

Kim has decided to pay an outrageous change fee to Delta and has extended her stay in Honolulu.  That means I've got another free shot this weekend, and it looks like the weather is going to cooperate again, so...

It's very simple like my Guzzi, and why it appeals to me so much..
