Whoops, thanks Charlie..didn't realize it was already posted (shame on me!)...maybe I'll leave it up since this post has the recommended gps ride files?
Here's a first try at a route https://goo.gl/maps/ysCRoava7keFZCL59 Will look to refine it more as we get closer to the rally.
I opened that up and it shows Route 80 west all the way out?Try a northern route on Route 6 west (nice), then cut south on 15.
My back has been acting up a bit so I've taken the precaution of booking a room at the Stony Point B&B which is about 15 min from the rally. Owner says there are still rooms available. Pretty reasonable at $145/night including taxes and of course, a good breakfast. http://www.stonypointbnb.org/
I don't (tent) camp, but had thought about driving the Eurovan up with the Morini or V50 III in the back and then sleeping in the van. But, I'd rather ride the whole way instead of driving. I too booked a room at Stony Point B&B. $149.85 per night total including taxes, be aware that they don't accept debit or credit cards, cash or check only.
Planning on coming. My diet doesn't allow for the catered meals. What's my rally fee?
Was great seeing everyone and getting to know some more faces from the forum. Charlie from VA Maryland (Antietam Classic Cycle) stayed at the same B&B so we had a chance to get to know each other a bit. Nice guy.I decided to leave Saturday after lunch to stay dry and be home for my son leaving for his new piloting job in RI Sunday morning. Many thanks to our hosts and Kissell Motorsports of Tyrone for bringing the demo fleet out!
