That looks like a Royal Enfield factory setup.

Having had an RE I don't mind the marque and that setup looks beautiful.  I would certainly hope the tug could pull 50mph but the problem will be ride it for a couple hundred miles and watch all the mounts move and or break. Pulling a hack for a 3 mile test ride isn't testament to its overall ability. This rig would look good in someone's front office as a focal point, that's about it.

Saw one like it at the Iowa rally last weekend. Bike was Black and Tan but other than that it looked identical. I didn't get a chance to talk to them so don't know the details of how long the couple had it or where they had come from, but they looked like they were certainly enjoying the ride. Maybe someone else that was ther would chime in and provide details.
And not to hijack the theme here but hats off to the Iowa flolks the rally was good as always.

There were 2 of them at the Iowa rally. The owner of one led us on a ride around the back roads, it handled OK but as expected was kinda underpowered.

For the money, I'd find an older MZ rig. Same size but more go w/o problems

The Daytona rig looks wild. Thanks JJ.  But if it were mine I sure wouldn't have hung a hack on it. I drove a rig for 5 years when the kids were young, the only way we could still ride. I occasionally miss the novelty but not the work.

Yeah, hacks are good for riding 2up and carrying all your stuff on mostly straight roads.  Have had hacks on a `71 Ambo, `81 CX100, and `80 Convert.  In fact riding from Yuba City, Ca. to Stevenson, Wa. for a Sidecar Rally on the CX hack was less tiring than doing it on a MC on I-5.  It was like driving a car on the straights.
