GREETINGS from NEW YORK
« on: April 01, 2018, 12:03:06 PM »

I've been Kmpf. BMW since mid 1970's
.. built & rebuilt road going Racers,
& took a break from riding.

College Riding Chum is still with
his R1100S in Black & family all grown.

I would go test ride a Cali14, more poop than the Griso.  I used to service them in N. GA mountains and they go fine in real tight twistys. All you have to do is open up intake & exhaust and map it.

I suggest you go to the Griso Ghetto https://www.grisoghetto.com/ and talk to the Griso experts there. Making a Griso 1400 is not straightforward.

Contact Pete Roper on this board.  He's converted a Griso to 1400.

You night might check on the V11 Lemans Board as well.  I think he has a some detailed explanations.

That poser! Fahghettaboutit...  My advice would be to get a low mileage 2017 Griso and enjoy it.

OK .. OP is Back!

 :whip2:

This past year I found a 2014 California Sport 1400
with 1300 miles .. for my project.

Owner apparently bought it .. rode 1300 miles,
put it under a Tarp & died.

Tank water .. junk .. tires .. original

I'm looking at a 2006 BREVA frame ..

Unfortunate to be reading Roper & Talent
have left the Forum
