Huzo,

Is that the GT version of the PR6?  That's quite good performance...front faired as well?

I'm still sticking with the PR4's as long as they are available, but at some point, will have to make the switch to the 6's.

I’m not sure Paul regarding the GT thing, but I’ll check in the morning.
19,000 k seems to be the reliable figure. This had 1,500 k left, but I wanted to get the new one on before I left for Europe.
The front is just fine, I reckon it’s got 5,000 left.

Phenomenal mileage (kilometrage)...I'm wondering if the 6's wear longer than the 4's...will have to do some research...I've got one more set of fresh 4's about to go on the Norge in another 1000 miles, then will see what is available after those wear out!

Mandello is approaching...enjoy the festivities and send lots of pics!

Yes, it will be good.
Regarding the Michelins..
I have had nothing but Pilot 2’s - 6’s over the journey on the Triumph Sprint 1050 and the Norge. The longevity seems to be the same.
The best I ever got was a set of 4’s on the Norge in 2017, which ultimately did 21,000 km, but that was a little artificial in that a massive proportion was done in Europe during constant rain and cold weather. They really had a very easy time of it.
Also, the 4’s did display a tendency for “scalloping” in the second half of life, but it did not significantly affect the handling.
I run 40 psi and I guess I’m fairly gentle on the throttle, other than that I just do what everyone else does.

Speaking of tire(tyre 😁) wear on the Norge, I just replaced the rear. Old tire was a Continental Conti Motion witch is a cheap tire that the PO put on the bike right before I bought it. 5500 miles and it was down to the cords😱. Point is you get what you pay for in tires.. I replaced it with the new road attack 4.
