Not directly to this thread, but one thing which I have few time thought/questioned with my own Nevada (year model 2005). As you turn power on, the headlight will be on automatically. So always as you'll start the bike. Now if the battery is bad shape (end of lifecircle), you could want to try to start the bike with headlight off (but now that is not possible). Perhaps this is one kind of security matter (lights will be always on as you ride the bike) but I have wondered how about installing separately switcher?
Hello AJ, yea, I told Mr. Hobart he was now a qualified Guzzi mechanic. The guy is a great find. There is also Ned's in Riverside, Iowa, s.w. of Iowa City. Have not used them, have heard good reports of him and talked on the phone with him a few times.
