Crazy dangerous operation, the ISS is traveling at over 17,000 mph, that anything can dock with it is amazing in itself. I think most folks just take for granted the ongoing operations of the ISS, it’s mechanical, things have to malfunction.
I remember a documentary where Neal Armstrong explained the complexity of docking in space and the work he carried out on the Geminy mission that nearly killed him.
Some people think parallel parking is hard.
