As a few others have discovered, there are different C-Bow mounts for the various V7 models, one for the low-exhaust models, Classic, Stone, and Special, and one for the high exhaust models, Racer, Cafe, Cafe Classic.

Classic, Stone, Special630541.00.01630541.00.02
Racer & Cafe630540.00.01630540.00.02

Moto Machines and Capital Cycle both seem to only list the 630540 model, which is specific to the Cafe and Racer models.
If you're trying to get C-Bow Mounts for your Stone, Special or Classic, then order part number 630541.

See: http://wildguzzi.com/forum/index.php?topic=69096.0 for pictures of the Cafe/Racer mounts on a Stone, and on my Racer.

They'll fit the low-pipe models, but, be at an angle, which will look dorky with the low pipes, esp. with the rectangular bags like the uber-cool Strykers (which is why I my set to Cam, they didn't look right on the racer, but, will look good mounted level on his new Stone).

Okay, I called Moto Machines and Capitol Cycle, both HB distributers.  Each would have to special order the C-Bow carriers for the Special/Stone.   It would take at least a month.  So I went straight to Moto Bins in the UK hoping I'd get them sooner.  $215 plus shipping to the US.

Thanks again to Doorty, Jay and Kev for sorting this out.  Now to box up the wrong ones and send them back to MM.

Well, at least they are ~$40 cheaper than Moto Machines, which should make up for most of the shipping.

Hey Jay - fix your part numbers. Looks like Racer and Café Black is wrong (see suffix)

Do'h!     I just fixed it.

Yea, with shipping from UK it's about same price.  Also a "special order" from them - 3-4 weeks.  But I feel more confident since the correct part is on their website.  With the amount of Stones and Specials being sold, it would be nice if HB started shipping these to their distributers.  Also, it was just brought to my attention MM and Capitol Cycles is the same place!

I think it is up to MM/CC what they choose to stock, not HB.

That said, no shyte, huh, why the separate websites?  Huh

I got my CORRECT C-Bow carriers today from Moto-Bins over in the UK.  Took about 2 weeks - not bad.  They hang perfectly parallel as they should on the Special/Stone/Classic.  Got instructions in both German and English, and the parts were labled left/right.   BTW, what a BITCH installing the rear brackets between the frame and Stucchi rack. One side fits up easy enough, but I had to grab my neighbor to wedge in the other side as I used brute force to pull the rack apart. Even then I had to tap the bracket into place with a rubber mallet and try to get the holes to line up.  Lesson learned - don't tighten down ANYTHING until it's ALL pieced together.

I think the Straykers were made for these bikes (thanks again Jay!).

Cam -- you're welcome.   They do look great, esp. with the silver and black colors.

The definitely need to be horizontal.   The mounts are angled on the Racer (and Cafe) due to the up swept pipes.  The strykers just don't look good at an angle.

Many thanks to jas67 for posting this.  I had the wrong part # in my online shopping cart before reading this thread.  Saved me a lot of time and $ shipping parts back across the pond.   :boozing:

(Would have posted this sooner, but the google search feature was still on the fritz, only providing very limited results.  That is now fixed too, so thanks to Luap as well!)  :boozing:

Cheers!
