New Jersey LUNCH - Saturday, March 28, 2015
« on: March 16, 2015, 03:13:39 PM »
http://www.britishbrewpub.com/

Given the weather this time of year is still unpredictable, let's start the season with LUNCH at the Ship Inn.

SATURDAY - March 28th @ 12 Noon

Usually plenty of parking out front on the street, so we'll meet there around 11:30 am.

I'll give the owner a heads-up we're coming back. See you there!

Two days after a planned vasectomy  :o, I'm gonna predict that I don't make this one...  :-[

When I had mine in '89 (hey, that's a poem), my buds were telling me it's no big deal, they had theirs on Friday afternoon and were out playing softball on Sunday afternoon.

I don't know whether I had a hematoma show up, or what, but Sunday evening I was sitting very still in a big reclining chair, full to the brim of Percocet, with my wedding tackle swollen the SIZE of a softball and it was agony to move.   Took me a week to get back to where I could walk without grimacing.

So it's hard to tell how it might go.   Don't make any strenuous plans!

IME, 22-yr old trophy wives who don't want babies are easy to find once you've had a vasectomy.

I was talking to Lannis...

How did my lunch thread take such a turn.  Please move all vasectomy discussion to the Paralyzed Penis thread.

I didn't realize Lannis had a trophy wife ...

Trophy wives?   THIS one’s MY trophy.

This pic, we just got back from a 2500 mile ride on a stripped down 1000SP, not even any side covers much less fairings …..

And in the middle of a 3-week camping trip in the UK on that BSA in the foreground …..

And camping on the Isle of Man in the middle of a huge muddy field and STILL smiling!

I know a few other guys whose wife will ride with them on these sorts of things, but there ain’t many!   THAT’S Trophy Status!

Now that we’ve generated all sorts of diversions and activity, BACK to the New Jersey Lunch!

I'm pretty sure the anaesthesiologist wouldn't be in attendance, and that either an wreck or an angry woman would be involved.

The Urologist asked me what I do for a

living. I asked why.

He said you have a choice to be awake or out for it, unless you're a cop. If you're a cop, you have to go under.

I again asked why.

He said, cause they ALL pass out.

We have GOT to help Cam get this "New Jersey Lunch on March 28th at Noon" thread back on track.   :)

If we keep on, nobody is going to show up ... they're going to have vague crotch-aches every time they think about the ride and won't attend!   :o

Everyone in New Jersey and Pennsylvania should be there.   I really like these kind of day-trip events.   My son and granddaughters will be with us on Saturday so I won't be able to make our Third Saturday March 15th Guzzi Lunch in Lynchburg, but I make all of them I can ....

This is open to anyone who rides ANY bike or drives ANY car or walks or bicycles and doesn't have to be friend of ANY body there!   All you need is a Guzzi attitude, and you'll see what that is as soon as you pull up!

Thanks, Now all I need to do is close the deal on the bike.

Trying to buy a used 2012 Stelvio (Orange with 1438 miles on the clock) I believe we are now about $900 apart on price.

Buying this bike for a NJ to Alaska trip in Jul of 2016 (I retire in Sept this year) Right now I am riding a 2013 H-D Road Glide plus have three other bikes. A 53 panhead, 66 Sportster, and a 69 Rokon Trailbreaker.

Oh, and used to race Enduros in AMA Dist 6 in the mid 70's to early 80's on Bultaco's...........
