The first Wildguzzi posts never mentioned stuff like motors, electrics or even lubrication! Everthing was so much simpler then.....

Ah, how simple life used to be!

Wonder what he's using to grease his axles?

Chicken Yak grease caused a lot of problems though.

Dogs just couldn't resist the delicious smell, and that got them into the habit of chasing cycles!

santaferider is alive and well in Santa Fe.  Hurricane Hugo took his restaurant in Charleston in 1989, and after decades of living in the Carribean and on The East Coast of the USA, he and his wife decided to relocate to the interior.  He's Argentinian, so I think that the old Spanish vibe in Santa Fe appealed to him.

He had a low-speed fall on his V11 LeMans and injured his knee about eight or nine years ago.  It took a couple years to recover, and he sold the LeMans due to the knee angle.  Now in his mid-70s, santaferider still owns and rides an R1100RT and a Ducati ST3.

I have visited he and his wife in Santa Fe several times.  Great guy and a real motorcycle enthusiast.

That's good to hear Mike.  SFR used to be very active on ADVRider but abandoned that site some time ago.  I enjoyed his banter there, he had some interesting neighbors at one time I remember.  Did not know he had been on WG in the past.   ;-T
