I love the 2-valve air cooled Duc motors!    Is that an 1100 or 796?     I've got the 796 Monster.   It is definitely a smile maker.

Went back to Cadre and checked out the barely used Bobber and the Roamer again. I still like the Roamer better and ended up buying the Roamer. They did not have a yellow one in stock, so they had to order one. It should be in about two weeks!

Right on! Looking forward to the reports!

Was it cosmetics or was there a performance variable that played in to it?

It was mainly cosmetics, but I did like the feel and handling of the Roamer better.

Congrats!  I agree that the Yellow Roamer does look good.

The bobber is crying out for some trials knobbies IMO.

I hadn't followed any V9 threads for months.  Last time, it seemed like the discussion centered more on the preference of the V7III over the Roamer or Bobber.

Glad to see that the V9 series is now getting some attention from buyers.

No more threads like this one, please, or you'll have me looking!

I originally was looking at the V9 before I purchased the V7 II Stone. I chose the V7 at the time because of the promotion going on right before they released the V7III.

I've got a V-7II Stone , now and am thinking of going to the V-9 Roamer .   You just did the very thing I'm contemplating .   So ,let me ask ya :  Did it seem like your V-7 never got to Super-Slab Gear even when you were in 6th gear ?    Question is , Does the V-9 have that same feeling going on ?

I understand my Stone didn't have the rings seated till about a thousand miles and got more powerfull feeling durning the entire time .    But , I'm asking about "relaxed RPM at InterState speeds."

My Stone is spinning over 4,000 at 70mph / power wise 3,000 at 70mph would seem more approicate .

A Guzzi engine is *not* a low rpm cruiser. Around 4200 rpm is a sweet spot on every Guzzi engine I've operated.

3000 is like the bare minimum for it to just want to start to get happy...

I have "friends who I no longer talk to" who run them at 2500 RPM or lower as they are so used to cruisers...

After a few months of owning, they ended up just selling the V7 and complaining they run so "rough". Also always argue with me that an engine should not run that high RPM during use...I facepalmed really hard that day...

Did I mention I don't talk to them anymore?

Hard for me to answer as the vast majority of my riding are back roads and two lane highways where the speed limit rarely exceeds 55mph. As far as the V9 I only rode it about 20 miles yesterday and looks like it will be at least 4 or 5 days before I am able to get out again as we are expecting rain for the rest of the week. Between my test ride and yesterday I have ridden a V9 only about 45 miles. I did notice on my way home that when I looked at the speedo I was doing close to 60 without realizing it.

I like the V9 Roamer in Yellow! I have a White Roamer with the red stripe. I also have a 2015 V7 Special and a 2017 V7 Stone lll, like them all. For long trips I think the V7 is more comfortable then the V9 but that's just me... I just picked up the Stone, but noticed the quickness in the lower gears. Anyway Safe Happy riding!

That’s awesome, Cadre cycles deserves sales and attention, they are a stand alone Guzzzi dealer
And I wish we had one in Knoxville. Lots of discussion about the V7 on Advrider.
I would definitely buy a bike from Cadre when the time comes, but for now I’m going to have to settle for this poor lonely 1200 Sport

Cool video, there’s a 2016 Roamer at my local dealer going cheap. Demo bike that never sold with less than 1k on it. Around $4k cheaper than the new V7’s he has in stock. Should I buy it ??
