Bay of Fundy is pretty, check out the Hopewell Rocks if you have time. I heard PEI is unspectacular and is just a bunch of nice homes. There’s a Moto campground an hour or three before Cape Breton called East Wallace Campground. Owner is a nice guy who gave me his dishwashing gloves for the rest of my trip which was helpful because it rained a lot afterward.

My Cabot Trail experience a couple years ago was filled with RVs, semis, and road construction, so it was a bit of a buzzkill to have so much on the roads before and aft. Don’t know what the Maritimes are like right now, maybe a little lighter on traffic for now? Regardless, take care of those small businesses out there - - rocked their economy for sure.

I was there 49 years ago, for the "You're So Vain" total eclipse of the sun. I don't remember any RVs at all.

Have fun! Post an update or a photo or two.

Got your paperwork all in order? Last time I looked, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia had some onerous travel restrictions.

I did a Map Quest.  If I did the same destination from Okla City, our trips would be within about 100 miles of relative distances, a little longer trip for me.

I went when much younger to see all the different effects of the tide.  It was a spectacular 8 days.  The Reversing Falls required a long stay to see the complete transformation and was totally worth it.  Have fun!

Great. I had horrible visions of you getting stuck at the border.
I was hoping to get to Newfoundland again this year but the bureaucracy put me off. Have a great, safe trip.

Well ,made it back ,16 fantastic days !!! Only 1 day in 'warm 'rain ' from Anapolis Royal  Nova Scotia to Lunenburg NS.
With our Paperwork in Order, the only place 'they' were a bit more stingy was at the Entry Point / Edmundston into New Bruinswick.
Than down to Saint John ,....Ferry to Digby /NS ,not much nore any hassle there.
Cape Breton Trail ,...rode it Counter clock wise ,...way better views !!! But have to say its not as 'dangerous' as sometimes discribed ,but beautiful.
Pic's to follow.
So after shy 9600 km ,the Cali proofed to be a good Mule for 2 up and our Gear .

Sounds like a great trip! Did the Lighthouse trail on my SP in '85. Me and Mrs. larrys weren't even married then. Took the Bluenose from Baa Habba to Yamuth to get there and the Digby/St. Johns ferry to get back. camped about every other night. Bay of Fundy tidal bore was impressive coming in...

I rode on the Bluenose back in the late 50s. Almost got seasick even though I grew up on the water. I couldn't get in sync with the rise and fall of the boat. Drove on the way back to Conn.
