Aftermarket cali brake pedal.  Folks seem to like these.  No affiliation with seller.

Once it's mounted, the shaft runs UNDER the floorboard and out of sight.  Pedal sits up in front.

Had one on my 02 Stone, I had EV frame lowers and floor boards, really liked it.

Good pedal, real good deal.
