Title: looking at the post office

They're common; they're remarkably efficient overall; but, people often don't pay much attention to them.  When a small town loses its post office, that town will soon be irrelevant.

The style is "Italianate" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italianate_architecture).  Very popular in the 1800s, especially during the last half of the 1800s during the "Victorian Era".

Always pleasing to look at, for some reason!  We have a few old mansions around here done in that style.

Then you'd like the library in Bangalore, India.  You can always tell the buildings in India built during the British era.
