Title: CL ad for G5, notice the descriptive pics
Post by: brider on October 16, 2018, 03:48:08 PM
Yes, it's a G5 with nice dual seats, with creative camera angles:

Poor seller took the time to go OOPS! and cover his license plate, only to post the revealing pic anyway!!

Hope it's not a member here that's selling, but if it is: It's all in good fun, and I LOVE your boat!

Never understood covering up the plate in photos.  What’s someone going to do, run the plate (police), get your address then go burglarize your house and steal the bike?  How about riding it around on the street where it’s displayed for all to see?  Nonsense.

That is one mixed up "hot mess" of a G5. It can't decide it it's a touring bike, "sport" bike, bobber or what. Crack pipe price too.

I'd  have to agree with Charlie.  I've looked at those pics twice now and am thoroughly confused now.  Hard to improve on the beauty of an original g5. I will say I like that plum color for some weird reason.  The fairing and bars not so much.

Here is what I would consider a proper plum G5

All above comments are true, but I was looking for more snide, sarcastic comments on yet another attempt to sell a bike at an inflated price with the worst possible set of photos imaginable.

Maybe his wife made him run the ad to sell the bike, and this is what he did to keep up his end of the bargain, with no intention of ever selling.
