Working on the 2021 Connecticut-Rhode Island Calendar now, so here's an update:
KNOWNS:
-3rd Sunday-of-the-Month Breakfasts begin on March 21. Again, at the venue we moved to in the middle of last season (for better social distancing, parking, etc.): Deb's Restaurant, Higganum, CT. Early birds get there by 8:00, and we hang out to about 10:00. So come when you will. No need to be there exactly at 8:00. We'll run through November 21.
-We will have another Spring Fling at Sweet Evalina's in Woodstock, CT on June 6. We'll park in our own, "Post Office" lot across the street, as usual.
-June 17-20 = MGNOC Rally in New Hampshire, celebrating Moto Guzzi's 100th Anniversary. Contact Randy Tefft for details: rt@ne.rr.com Be there, or be...!
-The Fall Moto Guzzi New England Day will be held on October 3. But...moving to Sweet Evalina's (instead of the Vanilla Bean) in Woodstock, CT for improved social distancing (see above).
-October 24: the Greenwich Concours de'Elegance in Greenwich, CT will be including a Moto Guzzi class, in honor of the 100th Anniversary.
UNKNOWNS
-Status of Tiddler Tours. Mine most likely won't happen, because it'll still be too early to have a crowd in my garage and in-and-out of the bathroom. And then there's the small Lunch venue (that's on the already prepared Route) to consider. The Ropers are discussing theirs. John Harris is pretty confident that he will be doing one, but awaiting a date.
-Quarters are too tight for the New Haven Simple Pleasure Pizza Party. Unfortunately...
-No word back yet from Hamilton Rod & Gun Club about timing for a full reopening, including the Pavilion kitchen opening. And of course, bathroom elbowroom there is minimal.
-Same as above for The Log Cabin's little Banquet Room that we use for the Christmas Party. Availability remains unknown.
So again, it's still work in progress. Stay tuned for final publication. Tryin'...
