Contacted MG/Piaggio Customer Service
« on: April 28, 2021, 05:58:07 PM »
Hey Guzzista's

Most of you saw my post about my new V85TT dying on day 2 of ownership.

I did contact customer service and heard back from Leonardo that the matter is being looked into, stay tuned for what if anything comes from it. They did want the dealer whom I sang praises about as theyve been in business for over 70yrs and were quick in Dx and repairing it.

Stay tuned...

Hope they don't pull your dealer's franchise for providing an unacceptably high level of customer service. They have to protect their reputation ya know

Now hold on there, Piaggio Customer Service is an oxymoron.

Well, maybe a hat, or key chain. Hold out for a coffee cup!

Most likely outcome is the mandate a software update to the bikes anytime heated grips are installed. Your experience will likely help others moving forward.

Months later, and after a thorough investigation, they did pay for my tow when Piaggio "roadside assistance" had no clue who I was when i called for help...Lol
