I've listed mine in order of displacement.  Looking back on the list...I sure wish I still had the Kreidler and RZ350.  I also loved 500 Interceptor's because a 70hp, 425lb machine with a sporting/standard seating position was a really well balanced and fun machine.  I still have the Honda Passport, Goped, TW200 and 1200 Sport.  I also still have the Super Rocket but it's been torn down to a rolling frame with the engine on a stand and the parts in totes.  I will probably never put it back together.    


Does a Goped count?  Picture your kids Razor scooter with a chainsaw engine that tops out at around 30mph.

Wow some of you have gone through a lot of bikes. I started riding at 18 in 73 with a 65 FLH Electraglide. Wore it out with a lot of local riding and a few cross country rides. It's now in my brothers hands to be resurrected once again. Bought a friends wrecked 60 Triumph Bonneville chopper in 77, still have many of the parts. There was too much of it broken so I bought my brand new 77 850 T3 FB in October of 77, Still have it and riding it again after many years of not riding.

Bikes of my teenage years:

1972 Honda CT70 - Dad brought this back from Japan.  Maybe rode it 1 year before it was sold.
1973 Yamaha GT80 - rode all over the place on this bike as a kid.  Memorable times.
1969 Honda CT90 - That yellow old bike that I rode everywhere.
1975 Kawasaki 90 dirtbike (bored out to 100cc) Dad thought it was "too hot" and sold it.  I was very bummed.
1975 (or 76) Kawasaki 90 streetbike (2-stroke single cylinder) Orange in color - I think it was a G3.
1965 Honda 70cc (looks like the Honda Passport of the 1980's) I bought it from junkyard and rebuilt it during a motorcycle repair class.  Great for chasing cattle when the grandparents weren't looking.  My Cousin totaled it in a crash involving a tree.

Bikes of my "20 something" years:

1979 Suzuki RM400 (scary power - caught air at the top of competion hill - Imperial Sand dunes.  Traded it for a gun)
1979 Kawasaki KL250 - modified for power on the top-end.  Rattled my teeth out!  Main transportation around 1980-81.  Longest trip I took on it was approx 180 miles (Phoenix to Yuma) and I thought I was going to fall apart from the vibrations.  Actually glad to sell it.  I was convinced that I'd never want a 2-stroke after owning this bike.  In hindsight, this bike would make a pre-2006 Harley Sportster feel like a Honda Goldwing in terms of smoothness.  Yes, it was that bad.

Over 20 years go by.........

1986 Honda CT110 - First bike after 20 years.  Pristine condition - it was a pace bike for bicycle races.  Should have kept it.
1973 BMW R60/5 - First "real" Re-entry bike for a 42 year old.  Beautiful old bike that I owned for a short period of time.
2003 BMW F650 - Great bike.  Still holds my personal record of a 926 mile day from Denver, Co to Prescott, AZ.
2006 Suzuki V-Strom 650 - Stronger & smoother than the F650, but top heavy.  Lot's of LD trips on this bike.
1995 Harley FXDL - My current ride.  Very comfortable, but I'm not sure how long I will keep it.

There might be a bike somewhere that I forgot, but I think that covers it.
