What I Did For Christmas
« on: December 26, 2014, 08:53:47 AM »
Here's what my V11 looks like right now. New filters, fuel lines, adding a manual petcock, new throttle body sleeves, plug wires, etc. I am also properly grounding the regulator. Also replacing a few fasteners here and there, including on the TPS. Then installing Roper plate, new fluids, and general love all over. Can't wait to fire it back up afterwards!

LOL, I just took mine apart yesterday too!  It is getting bar risers, which led to new cables, then a new Thomaselli throttle, new brake MC and right switches.  Then figured I might as well clean up my custom dash.  Which will involve some wiring cleanup, including redoing ground wires throughout.  That led to removing the fairing and mount and cleaning up my hack welding job.  Now I plan on redoing my trunk mount and making a tool box for under the trunk.

Now just have to wait for it to warm up a bit.  Got 6" of snow last night and supposed to stay near or below freezing for the next week! (my shop is not heated :) )

You'd better invest in a heater for your shop or you'll never get finished!

Finally have all parts in hand, but my garage is also unheated and it's actually cold here in North Texas. Makes getting the clamps back on the throttle body sleeves a real PITA.
