Not ALL depreciate .  Look at some of the vintage loops, V7 Sports, 750S, 1000S...

Only most new ones.  Nobody has that magic crystal ball.

All depreciate.

Maybe a few have since spiked, but even then, shyte, didn't half require their initial value in repairs or restoration?

And even then, they'll depreciate again.

Kinda like the #1 fact of a motorcycle... All will eventually fall over, even if it takes until they got the scrapyard, they don't stand by themselves.

1 of only 50 guzzis made is pretty rare.  I'm not sure how many duc Mike Hailwood replicas were built, but then again that was a very very special bike, in a different league than the green guzzi

To become expensive something has to not only be rare, it had to be WANTED, the larger the audience the better.

Provenance also matters.  The identical bike once owned by "someone" will usually fetch more.  (I guess that's part of WANTED).  Think Elvis's pink caddy.

I am not sure what will be available in the US. It looks like there could be three different versions of the V7 II Racer. If so, my vote is for the green one, followed by the chrome, followed by the black and grey matte one.

I would love it if MG would give us the option of ordering a particular version. (I guess they sort of do with their collections of add-on bits.)

Don't understand the crazy prices being paid for the MHRs . The modern ones look nothing at all like the original , and they aren't mechanically special . some weird market thing going on there .
