Almost sorry I pointed out the custom CX500 in the first place!I just think it's a nice-looking vehicle, as customized. I wouldn't touch one of the originals at this point with a ten foot pole, stylistically. But the custom CX500 would be a non-starter in my little garage, since I have better bikes for riding in my Griso and T-3, in my opinion.I'd definitely enjoy giving this a look if it were parked in front of a store. I expect someone will want it, but not necessarily a Guzzi rider, and not necessarily at the asking price.Moto
Trav- that is a sweet looking little ride. Did you make the seat/tail section yourself?
That's a nice looking package with those exhaust. Spoked wheels would look nice but probably not worth the effort. In any case, it's not trying too hard and still coming up short like so many "cafe" or "bobbers" do. A very complete looking result.Todd.
I don't recall ever having done this sort of thing, but I'm feeling a compulsion to post this interesting, and I think very attractive, near-a-Guzzi, for sale near me:http://madison.craigslist.org/mcy/5433127582.html(I'm not too fond of the seat, but that could be changed.)It reminds me of a Honda 450 in size and stance, but with our favorite engine configuration. What say you all?MotoP.S. I just noticed the seat is said to be made by "National Guzzi." Anyone have any idea what that is?
