Damn, thats a couple hours drive from me......seems like it may be a steal at $2500. although the fact that its not running, makes it risky. I wonder how many miles are on it? Ive always liked the yellow ones......Ive got to get a sales pitch ready for when my wife gets home from work, help me out guys....." Ah, Honey, I need another Guzzi....Its a great deal, and its up in Phoenix.....

There was no 1998 model Sport 1100.

Carb models 1994/1995/1996.
EFI models 1997.

Some markets had the Sport Corsa, but not the USA. it was available in 1998.

The bike shown appears to be a 1997 Sport 1100i.

They're great bikes, once sorted. Having sat for seven years, and owned by a non-enthusiast, I'd be prepared to go through it.

The EFI can be finicky, but Will Creeden had a chip for it.

It's worth a lot more than that in parts to the folks who are into spine frame Guzzis.

Single battery, but yeah bump starting one can cause a voltage surge that can fry the ECU. I'm curious why the fuel tank was removed. The fuel pump is at the front of the engine.

This is the bike from the original post. I went and looked at it yesterday. She could use some love, paint and pod filters. lots of little dings on the tank. no major dents.

original craigslist photos are dated 6/30/2013. I don't know what's been done to it. Turns over fine, doesn't run, so it's a project bike.

Too cool. I went backwards several thousand this week on items, 2nd Amendment - or it'd be mine. Would have been a bit of a surprise in it's current, slightly different state.

The updated photos from Turin show a bike that's been abused. Broken fairing. Dented tank. Those two things right there are biggies.

The bike doesn't run, and may have been wrecked. So, the frame may be tweaked and the transmission case may be cracked.

Poor bike...
