Taking my newly licensed daughter to the annual Deals Gap 2-stroke meet for the first time, and having her truly enjoy the event.

A great year of fieldwork, working with some excellent guys from the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte (Tyendinaga) and Mississaugas of Alderville First Nation along with my regular crew.

But as far as motorcycling, this pretty much says it all (posted before, but in case anyone missed it) : https://youtu.be/d7yiBb1NmGU

Surviving aortic valve replacement, subsequent staph and sepsis, AND being able by the end of summer to throw a leg over and ride my BMW R100GS and Moto Guzzi 1200 Sport.  Guzzi memories .... visits from Zoom Zoom and Art at the rehab facility.  I'll take this opportunity to let these guys know how much their visits meant.

A lovely vacation trip  with my wife to Vancouver BC, Victoria and the Sunshine Coast. No motorbikes in the making of that recipe, but a fine trip nevertheless.

Probably my longest day ride of 2016 - 394 miles on my Morini 350 K2. Breakfast in Biglersville, PA with friends then as far west as Windber, PA, before turning southeastward towards home. Lots of great (lightly traveled) roads, beautiful scenery, nearly perfect weather (sunny and warm).  :azn:

My bro came over from Vancouver, with a friend. Great catching up, riding, camping and chewing the fat.

Not so great when Friend canned off and did his best to kill himself but he survived to tell the tale.

The MD walking into the factory and laying off the entire shop floor including the shop manager plus my colleague the other side of the office at the beginning of 2016

Despite it not directly affecting me it took me 9 months to get my head in the right place after that

I prefer to look forward to 2017

We found a cheap holiday to Cadenabbia on Lake Como so we're off there in 9 weeks .... do we nip over to Mandello - decisions decisions

Camping mission to Wales

National Road Rally

Driving holiday down to Barcelona

....... providing the MD dosent decide to cock it all up again
