There was a super Italian restaurant in Houston, on Telephone Rd. It was called Murphy's (lol) and it is honestly the best I've had. This would be early 70s.
my true favorites are veal piccata and chicken marsala... if I make them. I have never been in a restaurant that offers a decent version. Unfortunately, i get to make the pretty rarely. Most common and pleasing one I do are nice meatballs simmered in a quick marinara sauce & served over ziti. great pot to simmer while watching football.
There is this little Italian Restaurant in Floyd VA , Mickey Gs http://www.mickeygsbistro.com where they make the best Bucatini alla Puttanesca. If you are ever in the vicinity you've got to try it (The VA rally is held nearby)
Nick, you still want that photo of the battery?
