Great video! There was a hard working mechanic in my home town in Italy back in the late 70's early 80's that would a few times a year take out his silver GTAm (I believe, had wider wheel wells/fenders and the single/large headlights per side) a couple times a year, tear through town like that, wake the dead, then park it in his shop before the cops would even be notified. He was an interesting character, hardly socialized with anyone but was a great car mechanic. That car was his life's pride and joy.

Well I'm out of touch. I knew the price of Montreals doubled a couple of years ago.  Alfetta GT and GTVs (116) are still cheap!

Oh man, I miss these.  Alfas were our family cars forever; between my parents and my wife and I, we had ten of them over a period of 45 years, from 1965 to 2010.  We had over a million miles on the lot of them, total.  Most of them went 150K to 200K miles each.

Dad had two 1965 GTVs, a 1965 2600 Spider, a 1969 Berlina 1750, and two 1967 Giulia Supers.  My wife had a 1964 Guilia Ti, and a 1981 GTV6.  I had a 1973 Berlina 2000, and a 1967 GT Jr.  Fine automobiles.

What IS it about Alfas?
Non Alfisti will never understand.
I do think my Guzzi is a 2 wheel version.
Better out there but the Guzzi just dose IT for me whatever that is. Same way as my Alfas did.

it is interesting.
I'm a late comer to Guzzi's and have wholly succumbed to the affliction.

Forever, the early 70's GTV's  have been at the top of my lust list. Unlikely I'll ever be able to indulge.

So we agree, Guzzi is the Alfa, what Ducati is to Ferrari.  Makes perfect sense to me.  I would rather own a Guzzi and an Alfa, they the over the top Ducati/Ferrari combo!

They're all desirable.  I've been very happy with Ducatis for the last 25 years.  My short list for my next bike includes both Ducati and Moto Guzzi options (as well as possibilities from KTM and Motus).

I loved all the Alfas our family had over the last few decades.  If I had the money, a Ferrari would be on the list, too.  Many Maseratis are also tempting, as well as the occasional Lancia.

I did go test drive a new Alfa Giulia sedan today.  I was pretty impressed.  Taut, sharp, firm ride, not too big or boaty like most newer cars are.  I'll need to try one on a more fun road to see better how it handles, and would have to try out the paddleshift option, but I got a favorable first impression.

Used modern Maserati's are affordable, but I don't think I could pull the trigger.
