Well after deciding to get a puppy last November I have been on a quest for a hack so the little girl and I can go exploring in the mountains on the DR650. I had missed a 562 earlier this year for $1,800 and nothing else had come up f/s within reason since. Last Wednesday on a whim I typed Velorex in search tempest and a 562 popped 2-1/2 hrs away. I called and it was still f/s and we made arrangements to meet 1/2 way today to do the deal. Best part is the hack is in good condition especially for a dual sport rig and it has a 20mm axle and the price was right.
So now I need space more than money although a cash infusion will not hurt either so I have the following f/s along with the T3 in the swap meet section:

1972 Eldorado with original patina $6,995.00.
Has had the following done since picking it up in April 2013. Before that it sat dormant since 1997.
New Gilardoni 850 cylinder/piston kits
100% new exact replica wiring harness (thank you Mr. Bender)
Alternator conversion (enough power to run all the electric gear you want)
New battery
Seat recovered w/ exact replica
Carbs rebuilt
All fluids changed several times
New tires F/R
Fuel tank interior cleaned (was not bad only slight surface rust)
All new cables (brake, both throttle, choke, front brake)
+ lots of little things like completed on the 850T listed ablve
Current mileage is around 22,000. The only two item that could use attention are the tach works intermittently. I disconnected it as the ignition runs through it. When it acts up the bike runs rough. The other item is I put a aftermarket front brake cable (better feel over stock) on it that does not have an integral brake switch. There are tons of spring switches that can be adapted to actuate the brake light. But hey its drum brakes I always use the front and rear together so I do have brake lights. I also have the stock cable that can be reinstalled if desired.
