Nice job on those photos Scott. I missed half the bikes that were there. This is one hell of an event!GREAT day!
There's just sooo many! This was the best event in maybe the past 4 years. Thanks for keeping stuff like this on the radar for us. Only thing missing on my wish list today were John Player's. I really love the JP-Commando and the Rotary F1's.
I wish that I was there. I'm already looking forward to next year's.
There is a rumor that this might have been the last. That it has gotten too big and represents too much work. I can't speak to the truth or falseness of the rumor.
Drums4money - that photo of the guy sitting on the T with the side car- that's Joe Collins. Last time I saw him was in 1980. We served on the same submarine for a while. I think his dad started Collins Classic Cycle. If you don't mind I would like to send him that photo. Small world.
Yea, at least one of each WAS there last year.
It seems like "other" outnumbered the Nortons.
Last time I made this event was in the mid to late 90's and it was always raining or threatening to rain. Crowd was about 30-50 bikes but that is just a guess with the majority of them Norton's so it sounds like that number hasn't changed.
:+=copcar just talked to a friend in the know-- $800/hr for 2016--save those pennies
Trk - you the guy with the gorgeous red/black Griso?
