70s style round LED turn siganls?
« on: June 16, 2024, 01:42:33 PM »
The v50 took a tumble off the workstand and mashed a front turn signal. Since the 14mm stem mount replacements are hard to find it's a good time to continue the 70s-ification and swap to round lens ones. Do you know of a nice chrome backed replacement set that's LED or easy to convert? I'm not too keen on the micro ones the kids are using these days.

I see the Lucas (orig & replicas) incandescent which I can fit to the rear but the fronts need to mount on the 14mm stalks coming out of the headlight mounting bracket. I could hack it to accept threaded couplers for indicators with stalks since it also got tweaked in the fall but I'm reluctant to destroy OEM bits (other than by dropping them that is ).

Attaches is a pic of the headlight bracket and stalks.

thanks,
jim

Maybe thread the inside of the front mounting stalks to M10-1.5? Then mount up a set of CEV or CEV repro signals, with LED bulbs in them.
