Your first FF? At first mine felt claustrophobic but soon got used to it. Only way I will go now. Had three Nolans which were good but have a Shuberth now and really like it.

i love my Schuberth C3 modular. I bought a Shoei RF1200 several years ago but never seem to use it. I just wish the Schuberth shields were more available and not to ungodly expensive.

No, I’ve always had a full face. I tried wearing a half helmet to tour glacier National park one year and ended up with half the black fly population on my face, it felt like.

But once in a while a sufficient sized bug will remind me of why I keep my full face! 😁

I forgot to close the garage door the other night. The next morning I went to get the helmet off the shelf and found this.
Apparently a bird was trying to build a nest in it.

I bought my first FF back in the 70's (a Simpson) after I read the Hurt Report about the large number of teeth marks they found on cars fenders after a MC vs car collision. And if you ever took a acorn to your face shield at speed your pretty happy you had it on.

I have a new one that I won at a motorcycle dealership in a drawing, and Ive never worn it yet.  I have a 3/4 with visor, and another fullface and i like the fullface helmets also.  Maybe il wear the new one on the upcoming wildguzzi national in Kansas?

Never had a open face lid for the street. I don't think I'd like it. A bug to the neck at 80 mph is painful enough

Love my AGV Sportmodular helmet. Plus Italian helmet fits with Guzzi.

When I started riding, pre-helmet law, in California, I never rode with one—just wasn’t on my radar—although I wore some very cool WWI style aviation goggles!
Post-helmet law, when I had a Harley and an old Triumph, I had a half helmet minimal thing. Thanks to good God that my head made it through those years unscathed. When I went back to riding, after many years and wives and children away from it, and went back to my first and best love—Moto Guzzi, I picked up a Shoei RF1200. I am so used to it now, and it’s so light and comfortable, it’s a natural part of me when I’m riding, and it would be weird to ride without it. I tried a few Arais and the fit was wrong. The Shoei fits like a glove. YMMV

I just bought an AGV Modular and love it.  It’s so light compared to the Scorpion I’ve been wearing.

I wore a 3/4 helmet for many years until a car kicked up a rock and broke my cheekbone. Switched to FF and never went back. Currently using a Scorpion AT-950. Loving the flip up front, drop down sun shield and extra large eye port. Not the quietest but I wear earplugs so it's not an issue. Mike is flat black.

Most of the time I wear a Shoei Full Faced Helmet. I never put the visor down except when it is really cold or raining.
It is very comfortable, but extremely hard to talk to anyone with the chin part blocking your mouth.
As a side note: I was able to go the auto parts store and the hardware store wearing my helmet instead of a face mask. Works for me.

Bob, I recommend you start wearing it now. It would suck to find out it is uncomfortable 500 miles from home. Or carry a spare. When I carry a spare my wife teases me about picking up a passenger at some remote diner that wants to get out of town. LOL!

my wife said the same thing when I went to the VA rally with a FF and carried my open face with me... "youre not gonna try to pick up some floozy in town are you?" I had to tell her there is no 'town' lol  :thewife:
