David Williams of European Motorsports (Riders Hill) sent me these pix of my brother’s Norge just moments after the stork aquila … OK, truck delivered it this afternoon and Ian cracked the shell.Michael takes delivery on Saturday. :DLooking forward to seeing the hand-off. And, maybe, just maybe, a ride. ;)Bill
Hey Bill, would you recommend these guys for service work? There's really no one in Florida I can count on for service on modern Guzzi's, and Riders Hill would be a good ride up.
... is there anything more joyous than a new motorcycle?
Yes, first ride on some old "barn find" that you've rescued and put back into roadworthy condition with your own two hands. ;) YMMV.
That black and silver combo is fantastic. ;-T
Not black.
NICE! I know these things are just material possessions. But as material things go, is there anything more joyous than a new motorcycle? ;-T
New is fun and exciting; old you poured sweat into is sooooo satisfying. ;-T
I wonder if the dealers couldn't get the owner involved in un-crating and setting up a new bike, especially one that's been special ordered, it would be a good bonding experience and give the owner a chance to ask any questions they might not normally think of.Don't wheel out the old "Sorry we can't have the public in the workshop, liability issues yada yada". Do it outside the workshop then.
That's a great idea. If I'm ever lucky enough to order a new bike, I would much appreciate that orientation.
