My first reaction, reminds me of ants...
That's the combustion chamber of the turbo shaft. It is supposed to be on fire. You just don't usually see it but the case and fairing fell off.

Of course it doesn't look so hairy, at closer to normal speed.  I thought it still looked a little rushed at 1/4 speed, so maybe 5 or 6 times speedup here.

No apparent road rage incidents. How long would it take for there to be a rage incident if intersections were that uncontrolled here?

Can't do it here.   Too many mind-dead cell-phone zombies, and too many "I'm going to BEAT YOU!" ricky-racers.   They're moving a lot more traffic through that intersection than we would be with our 24 traffic lights that would be hung up there.

Interesting to think that Ethiopians are likely to be more considerate and skillful drivers than Americans on the whole.

I suspect that driving on paved public roads is still so interesting to them that they are using their BRAINS while driving. In the USA, people literally want a self driving car so they can sleep, eat, (or Fecesbook or whatever) instead of wasting brain cells on the task of driving.

May not be many Ricky racers, but I suspect we might be very surprised at the number of cell phone drivers.  The third world, especially those that can afford to operate a motor vehicle is flooded with cell phone users.  Cell service in much of the 3rd world is far less costly than here in the states.

Could be, but I'll wager that there aren't any/many people on cell phones in that video .... !   You couldn't do it.

I would wager the majority of those small cars have a clutch pedal and a minimum of accessories. If tomorrow all cars with auto shifting transmissions were banned in the USA ,we could have intersections like that...again...
