tats ok rookie ;) 18 years ago when I was a rookie I bought a 850t, my first guzzi, id been lusting for one since the age of about 10 when I first heard the exhaust note guzzis make. im still hooked up on 70s guzzis, 39 years later ::)

That is one of the FEW tailpieces on a bike that I've ever liked.   Now I know where the "lines" come from and why they look good there .....

That came out nice!  I like the wood trim too.  Are you waiting on muffler or? 
My pipes have baffles but no mufflers.  A bit loud so I tiptoe around sometimes.  I'm planning on adding megaphones this summer.
 Where are you located- I see snow but that could be anywhere east of the Mississippi.

It's nice to see someone besides me 'repurposing' old fuel tanks.   ;-T

Now someone needs to cut a couple vertically lengthwise and make panniers.

Pretty sure the cylinder are OE chromed. I haven't been in there yet. I have a set of lafranconis off a V11 I'm putting on as soon as I find a decent pipe bender.

I have the OE cans,  just not mounted right now. I can't ride with open headers, it sounds super sweet but hurts my head.
Rodekyll Im thinking of a chin spoiler with the front bottom half of the same chopped tank.

That tail section does look nice- cool idea.
I think it would look a little more appropriate with allen head screws or bolts, rather than philips, but that's it.
With those low bars, I hope you have motrin. ;)

I cut the bottom out of a loop tank, divided it in half crossways, and hacked a hatch in the top.  The front section is the fuse box and misc line drivers/power supplies for lighting and stuff.  The rear compartment is for storage like an internal tank bag.  No, it doesn't also hold fuel, but I'll bet you could do your tail section to be either fuel or storage.

Please keep posting the improvements.  I hope to get some reverse cone silencers from Cone engineering this spring.
 My Guzzi sounds like a Chevy small block on overrev- it's great but a bit loud.

Thanks guys, I still have to figure out lighting and plate placement. Freezing rain here in Indy so I have plenty of time. The T belonged to my dad, his daily driver for about five years. I drove out to Albuquerque when he passed and out of about twenty bikes brought it home. Present me wishes I had held onto his entire stash. I didn't have the Moto-addiction then that I have now. I keep the NM plate on there for a few reasons.

I think for the exhaust I need an X-pipe to replace the H.
