Itchy Boots - Intrepid Female Adventure Biker

I think you all will be very impressed with Noraly, the intrepid young Dutch lady that has just completed an epic unsupported motorcycle ride by herself!  Her motorcycle of choice is a Royal Enfield Himalayan,  Her  recently completed journey was over 30,000 miles and  encompasses 125 YouTube videos.

She is now preparing to embark on a new trip starting in Patagonia with a finish in Alaska.   I think you will all become enamored with her in very quick order.  She is fearless, and very friendly.  Not to mention very cute. 

Her YouTube subscribers has jumped from 100k just a few weeks ago to over 250k.  RE has donated a new Himalayan with the condition of taking back her old one.  She always names her bikes.  Her old Himalayan was named Basanti, and she has named her new bike Dhano.  Obviously she has more sponsors for this trip.!

I thought I did my due diligence when I searched itchy boots and came up empty!  I didn't think to search on itchyboots.  Oh well, I tried.

     I have watched every episode. What you forgot to mention is that she usually finds back roads and trails searching out the beauty of the landscape not the normal tourist places. Good stuff for sure.

Yep watching her got me to look at the Himilayan, she probably doubled their sales. My practical side kept the $6000 in my pocket.

She said she had to replace her white bike because there was no way to register a bike built for the Indian market (purchased in India) in holland.

She is using soft bag on her new bike planning on crossing asia to alaska? Historically she carries no food or camping equipment. I think she has a sat phone she depends on if there was a problem.

Anyway, good entertainment when you are in couch potato mode.

Itchy Boots is heading to the US on her latest jaunt. I'm not sure she is keen on a lot of socialising  or individual meet ups due to some bad social media comments she has received in the past.

     I agree with NCSteve that everybody should get one. I was a sceptic of the electrics and such when she started her trip, but it always
starts when she hits the starter button out in the middle of nowhere.

I love mine!  Simple and fun!  The essence of motorcycling for me.  Of course I have hundreds of miles of tailor made roads for the Himalayan where I live.

Your dealer wanted $6000?  Or is that with sales tax and registration?  I paid $4500 for my '19 before tax.

 That is a twin that was built in England , different bike than the single . Looks like RE is coming proddy twin dirt track racing next year in AFT , there are already big bore kits
that take them out to 750 CC , and a stroker crank that gets the near the 800 CC limit . S&S has ground a cam , and rumor has it they have already seen well clear of 80 HP
on a dyno .

Sorry to disappoint but the twin is not built in England. They have a office unit that does pr and development with some former Triumph people on board.

 You misunderstood , the race bike was built in England from the twin that is built in India . There is also a small group here in the states working on
building a dirt tracker based on the twin , so you might say it is built here . I follow AFT (American Flat Track) like some folks follow motogp . Sadly

I don't think she is sponsored.  Unless things have changed she is paying her own way and hoping to get enough revenue from her YouTube channel to sustain her trip. 

Royal Enfield had not given her squat. 

She got the new bike from the Dutch distributor after she realized she couldn't get the bike registered in her name in Holland.  They stepped up and made the trade with her so they could use her bike for marketing purposes.  So, it wasn't given to her,  she traded for it.

Klim stepped up with gear for her journey.  Sounds like she bought the new Arai Helmet.  The soft luggage was given to her.

I have watched every video except some of the "live" question and answer videos.

Yes the positive attitude is the key. Shes not all fake and bubbly.. Its refreshing really.

My dealer doesn't charge any fees.  Just sells the bike at MSRP and you pay your taxes, and title at your local DMV.  Head on down to Decatur, AL.
