Hey, I'm looking for a decent (small) cooler that I can take on the bike.
Right now, we're using a soft-sided cooler and it's marginal for keeping everything cool.
What's everyone else using ???

Soft side six pack cooler with expandable lid (keeps stuff cool up there like a sandwich or a plastic container). Keeps 3 soda cans cold for the day. I do put in 3 of the reusable ice packs.

May not be what you are looking for but I use IceMule Cooler when on motorcycle camping trips. Collapsible, fold/roll top like dry bag, air chamber to aid in insulation and shoulder strap. Works quite well. Comes in different sizes.

I'm still using 40 year old Igloo coolers.

for fishing I use a 40 qt Orca
carry inside my truck 24 qt Ozark Trail soft side cooler from Walmart
kayaking I use either a Jackson roto-molded cooler (no longer made) 25 qt
also kayaking I use a 22 qt Canyon Outfitter (about a $110)

I'm a Yeti loyalist, but I hear good things about RTIC.

Also a YETI man. Have a small one I load with lunch things for float trips. A couple of quart-sized milk jugs full of water and frozen will keep my salami, hard-boiled egss, oranges, and string cheese nice and cold for a four-day float. The big YETI with a block of ice keeps food cool for the float, but the block will be nearing or at its end.

Whoever the marketing person is for Yeti should win a marketing award. Up to $750 for a cooler? LOL!
I through my $7 Igloo in the back of the truck with ice and drinks and they were still cold after a week in the NM high desert.

I use a $30 hard sided igloo cooler. Keeps things ice cold. I can strap it to the bike and stack things on it if needed.

I assume the $750 cooler capacity is a 2-300 liter range although doing remote exploration work in some fairly warm environments you do get what you pay for and forget the funky colour that match you bike handbag etc. White is where its at, yes it will look crap in pretty short succession but the difference in temp compared to others is significant, I like the Eva Kool brand might not be available in bike friendly size. I do like the Yetti freezer bricks they seem to work well.
