What about you guys?

Rode the Triumph into town to pick up some new rim strips (I'm changing the rear tire on the Norton, the old K81 is bald) and while I was in the shop picked up an Optimate battery charger and some chain lube.

Walked next door to the lawnmower shop with my non-working starter solenoid for my commercial Husqvarna mower, and they sold me a nice new one for $10.50.

Rode home, installed the new solenoid so the mower starts now.   Put away all the camping gear from the Ohio Valley do.

Went out in the garden and picked some corn and some okra.   Tossed the okra pods with olive oil, salt, and pepper, grilled them on skewers over charcoal, delicious!!   Ate 7 ears of corn - the water was already boiling when I brought the corn to the house, eating 10-minute-old sweet corn is the way to do it.

Thanks Lannie.

I find much of what can be mundane for many actually fascinating when it's new to you..  okra?

What a beautiful photo!  I hope you enjoy that bike as much as I do mine.  Amazing.

Oh and to answer the question- I worked.  But I love my job and so it was a good time.  I'm glad I can say that, it has been a while.

Okra - a staple of life here.   You can grill it, fry it, use it in gumbo, jambalaya, as a base for soups, or with shrimp in caruru (Brazilian).   The plants are extremely prolific in hot weather - 10 plants will drown you in okra pods ....

That's one good lookin' scooter! I worked, drove to Fayetteville Ar. And picked up a $12,000.00 check and drove back home. It's a dirty job, but somebody's gotta do it<shrug>

That is one stiff ride! Should never be parked. I actually got the morning free and took a ride down to the mouth of the Delaware. Little original settlement named Greenwhich. Just under 100 miles. Not bad for a morning ride.

You got the recipe right, Mate!  That mildly cafe'd Bellagio is the way the factory should have built it.  Very appealing!
