muffler fit an EV?
« on: February 13, 2019, 12:03:50 PM »
Hi,
Will these fit an 1998 EV with no mods to the brackets?

Stamped on the mufflers are the following

Lafranconi 26

Moto Guzzi S 29

Thanks

those are nice mufflers, the brackets might not be exact but if you have brackets from the EV mufflers you could use them, looks like they might fit in place of the ones on them now.

Same stuff from 80's -90's Call2 & 3' ,SP3's. Great stock mufflers. I still have all my take offs on a shelf along w/EV's. They'll be sold sometime.

Those look to be the oem mufflers from an 83-85 Cal II,If I remember correctly, they are a bit more "upswept" than the stock mufflers on an EV, and may possibly be a tad shorter in overall length.
You can probably make them fit though.

Not sure where you're at in Mid TN, but I'll be down at Defeated Creek campground east of Nashville at the end of the March. I could bring down the ones I took of my 02 Stone. They are punched with a 1/4 drill bit down the middle, but that shouldn't impact running, just a little better sound. They were only on the bike about a year. Might have a spare crossover too. If you're interested let me know and we can figure out a fair price.
