General Discussion / Re: Any issues with the 2015 V7 Special...?
« Last post by radguzzi on Today at 03:25:46 PM »

Well, turns out that the V7 is a Stornello.   I went over for a peek at it today and noticed the high pipe, meaty rear tire, bash plate and headlight screen...  Rear case, double adjustable windscreen.

Cool.

Long story short, we bought it.

My Grandson is now a third generation Guzzi owner in our family.  Does a guy proud.

Thanks again, all.

General Discussion / GRIT Rally
« Last post by rbond on Today at 03:23:39 PM »
Will there be a GRIT rally this year in Lindale, Tx.? My planned trip to Kerrville has been blown away again. (5 years of delays) So, also are the any other ares of Texas that has similar roads like the 'Twisted Sisters'? I have  a tent, sleeping bag, etc. I have had new for 5 years, not used yet. My 2012 V7C is set up to travel, trunk, saddle bags, windshield, and cruise control. Upgraded to 2016 Stone cast wheels with new Michelin tires, itching for a trip somewhere. Any suggestions will be appreciated. BTW, I am located in Alexandria, La.

The best quote from the article that sums it all up:
"The heart would choose the T3, the head would choose BMW."
My head overrides my heart.....at least the big one does! Lol!!

What makes the transition from a bicycle to a motorcycle is very difficult and interesting. Generally, you’ll find people are either avid bicyclists or avid motorcyclist, not both. I fall into the rare category of really enjoying both. But so often I find that my motorcycle friends don’t like the idea of riding a bicycle and my bicycling friends have a mental block and don’t want to even try a motorcycle.
